Fantabulous Fanny Fan

Yupp, that's my name, Fantabulous Fanny Fan!  What, you don't believe me?  Okay you are right, my name is Fanny but EVERYONE calls me Fantabulous Fanny Fan, Fanny Fan for short.  I am the newest foster dog in the Gill household!

I ended up at Multnomah County Animal Services in May and have been looking for a FABULOUS home ever since!  The people at MCAS took great care of me and helped me get in to my FANTASTICAL foster home!!  Since arriving on Saturday I have snuggled and wiggled and snorted and sniffed and kissed my way all the way to Monday!  Have you ever heard of us pitties being called pigglets??  Well I am a pigglet for sure!!  You should hear me snort and snore and sniff and make all sorts of noises.  Foster Lady says I am a pigglet but a super cute, adorable squishy one, which sounds good to me!!

My first night in the foster home was exciting and peaceful all at the same time!

I've spent equal amounts of time exploring and relaxing!  I love all the dogs beds in the house, the big one that Foster Lady sits on is my favorite but she always tells me 'Off".  I look at her and say, no, I'm Fanny, close though!  I guess the big bed is not for dogs, which is okay because there are lots of smaller ones that are comfy!

I love sniffing around the yard but don't really like getting my feet wet and dirty.  Luckily the rain is supposed to go away this week so I'll get to enjoy some nice sun bathing!

Is that some sunshine I see over there?!

I'm pretty well behaved and know how to sit and lay down.  I walk really well on a leash and LOVE my crate!  I'm excited to meet my foster brother and sister this week.  Foster sister looks like me although I guess I'm a 'thicker' version.  Foster sister says that means I have to go on a diet which means NO CHEESEBURGERS FOR FANNY FAT FAT :(  That's okay though because as long as I get tons of love and attention I'm okay not getting any cheeseburgers!

MY FUREVER HOME

Yupp, that's right, I found my furever home and I am SOOOO happy!  I think my new mom is even happier though, look at that smile!!

When I got home they surprised me with these great shiny new all for Kenna goodies:

I'm a pretty lucky little girl!  Tons of wags and kisses to everyone that helped miss Kenna find her furever home!  Adopt one until there is none!!!

My Photoshoot

I probably don't need to say it, but I'm quite the catch!  I'm sweet, snuggly, energetic, loveable and down right cute!  I had my photoshoot today with Lisa Teso and I have to say, I look good!!  Take a look for yourself, look in to my eyes and tell me I'm not the sweetest around!!

Yupp, I'm a keeper!

Smile!

I LOVE belly rubs!

I'm a pocket pit which means you can hold me and hug me and I'll give you kisses in return!

I don't wear makeup, I just look like this naturally!

I listen and do as I'm told

I swear she said jump!  I just wanted to show how athletic I am!

See what I was saying, I'm a catch and you know it!

I take treats nicely!

No one can say no to this face!

After working hard during my photoshoot and I still look good!

Right at home

First, I have big news.  When I first got to Foster Lady and Foster Mister's house, there was this big spinny thing on the ceiling and I was pretty sure it was coming right at me.  Foster Lady explained to me it was a ceiling fan and not to be afraid.  Yeah right, did she see how mean that thing looked?!  Well, while I hate to admit I'm wrong, after two days I've realized it just sits there and spins and spins and spins and...well anyways.  How scary can something be that does the same thing over and over and over again.  So I am no longer afraid of the spinny thing which means I can spend a lot more time in the front room with Foster Lady and Mister chewing on all my chew toys!

I have three favorite things to do.  1.) Play! 2.) Snuggle 3.) Chew.  Since moving in to my new foster home I've gotten to do all three, sometimes at the same time!!!  I also love to sun bath.  While the people at the shelter took good care of me, it didn't provide much time to sun bath.

Ahhh cool grass!

Look how pretty I am!

Bear crawling over to see my foster brother and sister!
So I lied, there are more than 3 things that are my favorites.  I also love to play with the cat, yupp I have a cat!  His name is Phoenix and I LUUVVVVVV him!  I give him kisses and he gives me kisses, although his kisses feel more like little bites that kisses but I'll take what I can get!

Time to go get some more sunshine!

Wags and wags and wags,
Kenna

Let Me Introduce Myself....

Hello world, my name is Kenna and I am a wiggly ball of love just waiting to find my forever home.  I've been living at Multnomah County Animal Shelter for about 1 1/2 months where they took really good care of me.  Last night I became an official Family Dogs New Life Shelter FOSTER DOG!  Yupp, I am now living in a home and learning about this thing called 'The Good Life'.

I am a pocket pit, weighing a little over 30 lbs, however Foster Lady says I could afford to put some weight on my little body.  I told her that won't be a problem because I LOVE to eat!  I will likely spend some time adjusting to my new home but will be ready for adoption in no time!  Foster lady already gave me a bath and brushed me.  Apparently I need to get rid of an entire layer of hair!  Right now I'm a big fluff ball and leave little Kenna's all over the house.

In the next few days I'll get to meet and play with my foster brother, foster sister (who looks a LOT like me, although she says I look like her) and my new foster cat.  Look for my photo shoot and piteo sometime in the near future.  I'm a star waiting to be born and can't wait to make my big screen debut!!

Wags, wags and more wags,

Kendra

I have a secret....

I probably shouldn't say anything because it's not 100% final, but let's be honest, it's a done deal!  I, Miss Nena, got adopted!!  My new family is AWESOME!!!  I will be living with two cats (who already really like me, even though they are playing hard to get) and will be the only dog.  Which means I will be spoiled rotten, just the way I like it!  From the moment I met my new family I knew it was the place for me!  Here is a picture of all of us (even though none of us likes to have our picture taken!):

I will officially go HOME on Saturday!  Wow, home, that sure sounds great!!  I am so grateful to everyone involved in saving Miss Nena and paving the way HOME for me!  I have so much love to give and such an appreciation for the simple things in life and can now share this love with a family I can call my own!

Hugs and Wags,
Miss Nena
